Follow These 8 Easy Steps
Before
Tanning, it is a good idea to exfoliate your skin in the shower. This
will help remove any dead skin and allow a smooth
and even tan.
After exfoliating,
make sure that your skin is completely clean
and DRY! If need be, make sure all shaving is done before the
tanning process.
Before
applying the tanning solution, make sure your hair is out of the
way and
all jewelry is removed.
While
applying the tanning solution, hold the can or airbrush about 8
inches
away from the body. Use circular motions to insure
an even coat. We suggest starting on the inside of the arm
to get used to the flow of the spray and to make any adjustments.
If
there is a build up of tanning solution in an area or on hair,
just blot with a paper towel and reapply.
When applying to the
face, make sure that eyes and mouth are shut.
When
applying around eyes,
do not squint eyes close them
in a relaxed manner. When apply on hands and feet, only
apply a light coat to the TOP of your hands and feet!
If you get any tanning solution on the bottom of your
hands or feet, just wash off with soapy water. Also
knees and elbows
need a very light coat.
When
finished, let dry for about five minutes, you can use a fan or
hair dryer (set on cool air) to speed up the
drying process. Allow four to six hours before taking
your next shower or bath. The longer the tanning solution is on
the
body, the
darker your
tan will become. While the tanning solution is
on your body avoid
any strenuous activates, heavy sweating may weaken
your tan.
If
you get any of the tanning solution on your clothing,
simply
wash in your regular washing cycle.
